The Campus
The college is functioning in its own land area of 5.5 acres in Kerala University Campus, Kariavattom since 11-07-2012. The college envisages to equip prospective teachers with the knowledge, skills, attitude, competence and commitment to face the challenges of day to day life. Students from all parts of Kerala are studying in this college. We have a team of enterprising dedicated academic faculty and supportive non teaching staff members. The college has achieved eminent scholastic and coscholatic excellence right from its inception. We have a close association with more than 20 high schools and higher secondary schools.
Land & Building
The College building is situated in a land area of 5 Acres(20234.282 sq.m), the property is owned by the Univesity (Kazhakuttom Block – Survey No. 507/1 Block No. 11 – North Block). The College building have a covered area of 1184.19 sq.m and 334.54 sq.m under construction . 6 Class rooms, one auditorium, one mini hall, one computer room,one work experience lab, one staff room, and two rooms as resting rooms for boys and girls. Science lab, Social Science lab, Maths lab are accommodated in the concerned Teachers halls. There are 6 Toilets- two each for Boys, Girls and Staff.
Library
There are 6916 books in the Library and 4 Educational journals are being subscribed.544 books were added in the previous academic year. There are 85 sets of Encyclopedias and 77 Dictionaries. 50 Students can use the library at a time.
Computer Lab
Fullfledged Computer Lab with facilities to help students master all popular programmes and applications. Access to special purpose software to sharpen technical ad analytical skills.
Language Lab
Computers of the computer lab is used for the language lab.165 CD Roms of educational value are in the stock and use. 2 sets of public address system are avilable.
Psychology Lab
Test meterials and equipments to do practicals are made available in the psychology lab.
